Jonah Capital is a private, pan-African,
limited liability investment company with
interests in the mining, infrastructure and
financial services sectors. The company is
headed by Sam Jonah KBE, OSG.
Sir Sam Jonah was formerly CEO and
Chairman of Ashanti Goldfields Company
Ltd., the first African company to list on the
New York Stock Exchange. On the merger
of AngloGold with Ashanti in 2004 he was
appointed President of AngloGold Ashanti
Ltd. He is Executive Chairman of Jonah Capital
and a member of the board of directors of
numerous African and international companies,
several of which he is non-executive chairman.
Formed in 2003, Jonah Capital holds significant
mining and exploration assets in Africa, a sector
associated with the Jonah family for more than
30 years. In addition, the company holds assets
in proprietary metal beneficiation technologies,
which are complementary to its mining assets,
and the group has invested in financial services
assets that leverage off the Jonah brand and
provide access to diverse opportunities on the
African continent.

experienced management team and board of
